From Farm to Masterpiece August 2025

Our ‘From Farm to Masterpiece’ Workshop is designed for florists who want to improve their use of locally grown stems and sustainable mechanics in luxury event design.

The Future of Floristry

DESIGN FOR luxury events with local stems and sustainable techniques

Across 3 days, we will teach you all we know about using sustainable mechanics and how to work with your local growers to create naturalistic, luxury designs. This workshop will cover all of the hows: how to work with farms, how to budget accordingly and how to educate your clients on working seasonally.

Each day will teach you practical techniques for creating high-impact designs sustainably - from abundant tablescapes to our large-scale installations. You will be encouraged to work collaboratively as a group, to draw inspiration from the beautiful surroundings of Floriston Flower Farm and think out of the box.

All stems used throughout the course will be provided by Floriston Flower Farm and for those of you excited by the idea of growing yourself, Amanda and her team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have before starting that journey.

Elevate your Portfolio

This experience is for all florists looking to learn more about the future of floristry and the group is kept intentionally small to ensure that all of you get the most out of the workshop, including one-to-one time with the team.

The workshop will be filmed and photographed by professional photographers. Photo's of you at work will be shared with you following the workshop, to elevate your own portfolio and kickstart your career in sustainable floristry. Please note, all designs are the IP of Lucy Vail Floristry.

Existing knowledge of floristry fundamentals is essential.
