How would you best describe your style?
Our style? I’d say our style has a timeless, vintage quality. Partly due to our tastes, we love classic photography from the 60s and 70s, the sort of photography that graced the pages of Life magazine, Paris Match, and partly due to our technique and the way we combine black and white and colour photography.
What sets you apart from other photographers?
We shoot very few weddings, maybe half a dozen a year. We won’t be shooting another wedding the week after and we won’t be shooting one the week before. When we agree to shoot a wedding we commit wholeheartedly and with love. We follow our passion. We don’t compromise, we don’t take shortcuts. We make sure that we get to know our clients, that we care about them and that our work for them is very personal.

What would you say are the most key factors in capturing the perfect image?
The perfect image - if only we knew. Emotion, composition, connection. When they come together, the result can be magical.
What’s been your most memorable event working with us to date?
If it can be counted as work, without a doubt, Lucy’s own wedding. Set amongst the floral abundance of Floriston, it was a photographer’s dream. And when it rained it was even more beautiful.

It will come as no surprise that we don’t work exclusively on weddings. We’re just back from Antwerp where we were shooting Depeche Mode on tour. We’ll be rejoining the band later in the tour and, I can honestly say, we can’t wait. To be around a band who have such a remarkable bond with their fans and crew, who have been in the forefront of great music for so long, is certainly something we’re looking forward to. In fact, we just can’t get enough.
