We've had so much interest in our practical large scale floristry course that we've decided to open up a second course date in April for 10 ambitious florists.

Held at Floriston Flower Farm, our ‘From Farm to Masterpiece’ Workshop is designed for florists who want to improve their use of locally grown stems and sustainable mechanics in luxury event design.

At this time of year, Floriston is awash with bright tulips and breathtaking spring flowers. You'll have a unique opportunity to learn ambitious floristry techniques, with locally grown stems, in the stunning Suffolk setting.

The Future of Floristry

LEARN HOW TO DESIGN FOR LUXURY EVENTS WITH LOCAL STEMS AND SUSTAINABLE TECHNIQUES

Across 2 days, we will teach you all we know about using sustainable mechanics and how to work with your local growers to create naturalistic, luxury designs. This workshop will cover all of the hows: the fundamentals of sustainable mechanics, how to achieve the LVF look on large scale instAllations, how to work with farms, how to budget accordingly and how to educate your clients on working seasonally.

The days are intensive and rewarding, each one packed full of both theory and practical learning opportunities. We will teach you practical techniques for creating high-impact designs sustainably - from abundant tablescapes to our large-scale installations. You will be encouraged to work collaboratively as a group, to draw inspiration from the beautiful surroundings of Floriston Flower Farm and think out of the box. Class sizes are intentionally small to keep contact time high for each participant.

All stems used throughout the course will be provided by Floriston Flower Farm and for those of you excited by the idea of growing yourself, Amanda and her team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have before starting that journey.

Good to Know!

If you do not live locally, accommodation is not included in the price of the workshop but we will provide you with some recommendations for places you can book to stay nearby. For anyone driving in each day, parking is available.

The timings for each day are 9:00am - 5:00pm.
